Below are some troubleshooting tips, should you have minor issues with your equipment. We encourage you to review these tips before placing a call.

| Paper jams in the document feeder |
- Check for foreign objects (staples, paper clips, post-it notes) in the feeder enterance and exit.
- Card stock or lightweight originals cannot be used in the document feeders

| Paper jams in the duplexing tray |
- Check for jams under the large paper tray.
- Check for excessive paper curl (paper may be moist-common during summer). Try fresh paper.

| Paper is jamming in the fuser (or exit) |
- Check for paper or other obstructions in the paper path.
|
| Paper is jamming in the finisher |
- Open finisher and look for paper.
- Look into the ends of any sorter bins or trays for paper.
|
| Paper jams in the cassette or drawer |
- Make sure paper is loaded correctly and not over-filled
- Check to see if the side guides are too tight—ensure they are adjusted to the correct paper size.
- If applicable, check that the cassette or drawer paper size dial is set to the correct size.

| The paper jam cannot be located |
- Check area LCD is indicating.
- Check behing larger paper feeder.
- Check under drum area.
- Reset the unit by turning it off, unplug the finisher and machine, then plug all back in and turn on.

| Poor image quality |
- Make sure your toner is not low.
- Check your PCU status.
- Make sure the glass is clean.
- Use fresh, quality paper.
- Adjust light/dark image setting.
